Performance-based program of Stand Up Paddle drills
Each week will have a new and exciting challenge provided by coach Harmony Dawn and the conditions on the River!

This group training is for advanced paddlers who want to increase their technical paddling skills whether for fitness or to train for their next race.
PREREQUISITE:
Intermediate/Advanced Skills
Paddlers must be able to get back up on your board unassisted and have a solid understanding of advanced turning techniques.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
14' board required for the elite group
11'6 + is required for the devo group
WHAT TO BRING:
Clothing for all types of weather conditions.
Wear what you would wear to go for a run or a bike ride at this time of night.
Bright shirts or hats are recommended.

BYOB ONLY- if you need a race board rental please add $500 for the season.

If you've ever thought about racing or are just looking to improve your paddling skills and get fit this is for you.
This program consists of stroke development, advanced turns, race starts, and strategy.
*SUP Strategy does not cover race starts/finishes

Race Training
Group Training- Distance

Need a little nudge to go the distance? Join this socially-distanced, accelerated-paced group for some guidance on going the distance. Build up your paddling fitness, get more comfortable in a variety of conditions, and become a faster and stronger paddler!
Your coach will not be paddling at arm's length, paddlers must have open water experience, and be able to remount their board quickly and unassisted in deep water, as you are responsible for your own safety on and in the water.
Boards are available or you can BYOB
Touring/race shape is strongly recommended.
Leash and Wearable PFD* required on the Ottawa River-Downtown.
Inflatable PFDs are at the Coaches' discretion at other locations.
