SUP Performance



PREREQUISITE:  This group training requires that you are able to get back up on your board unassisted and have an understanding of advanced turning technique. 


Not sure how to turn efficiently?  Take  SUP  2.0 -Learn to Turn  1 hour class or find it included in any of our 4-8 week paddling programs. HERE

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:  We will provide all equipment  (boards, paddles, leashes, lights, whistles and lifejackets).   

BYOB (Bring Your Own Board & the rest of the required equipment) is an option for this program. 

If you are bringing your own board we encourage you to use a displacement board 11'6 or longer. 


WHAT TO BRING: Clothing for all types of weather conditions. 

Wear what you would wear to go for a run or a bike ride at this time of night. Bright shirts or hats are recommended. 


WHERE: SUP Ottawa Downtown Wednesdays 7:00pm  

                   September starts at 6:45                      



                      Performance based program of Stand Up Paddling drills      

This is for paddlers who want to advance their already learned stand up paddle skills whether to increase their fitness or as training for their next race. 

  Each week will have a new and exciting challenge provided by coach Harmony Dawn and the conditions on the Ottawa River! 

Designed to get your heart pumping as you paddle further, turn faster, and increase your speed

while using the techniques learned in previous programs.

In September we welcome experienced paddlers to join us for a 3 week program. Registration opens end of August.

Accepting 10 paddlers in the 12 week program 

           Equipment  Included $420           BYOB $240 


  Drop-In may be available throughout the summer for  $45 Equipment included or BYOB     $30
