WSUPA World Stand UP Paddle Association Certification 1 Day $300 USD
This certification is for experienced paddlers with a min. of 2 years of paddling in a variety of conditions.
Each participant will be assigned topics before the certification to teach to the rest of the group such as launching and paddle technique and turning strokes.
You will learn class management, SUP Safety, equipment specifics.
This is an advanced certification.

Paddle Canada Basic SUP Instructor Certification
2 day $550 CAD
This training is for people who want to become an instructor on flat water and who have a strong technical background. You will learn the history of SUP, the welcoming of a group, the equipment, the educational progress, the basic techniques, and some more advanced skills. You will have to teach to the rest of the group some techniques and maneuvers, which will have been assigned beforehand to each participant, such as launching and paddle techniques in windy and wavy conditions, different foot positions, pivot turns, braces, power strokes, cross draws, and draw strokes.
Certification: Following the completion of this training, you will receive your Paddle Canada instructor certificate: “Advanced Flat Water SUP Instructor”.
*The obtainment of the certificate can depend on the training’s success.
Prerequisites: Have a solid base of SUP practice and have a passion for teaching as well as having or being in the process of having a recognized up-to-date 16 hours First Aid and CPR training.
Paddle Canada Advanced Instructor Certification
2 day $475 CAD
This 2-day Paddle Canada course is designed for those that have successfully completed the Paddle Canada Basic SUP Instructor course and now wish to pursue their Advanced SUP Instructor certification, or those that feel they have the skills to challenge for the Advanced Instructor. The course will cover teaching principles, group management strategies and how to apply them to both the Basic and Advanced SUP Skills curriculum, as well provide practical experience in teaching on-water skills.
This course will also cover how to properly administer both a Basic and Advanced SUP Skills course.

Paddle Canada Basic Instructor Basic certification can be obtained for Paddle Canada Members ( your yearly membership must be updated prior to the course.)
